Alvin Kamara

During the Pro Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, the New Orleans Saints running back was involved in a fight. There is a civil suit being brought on by the man who was allegedly beaten up by the player.

The Deshaun Watson sexual assault/misconduct case has brought this incident under the radar. During the off-season, a situation like Kamara's is usually talked about. The nature of the casedwarfed this.

We could see a resolution from the NFL much quicker than we have seen in the past. The charge against him is a felony. The league has a Personal Misconduct Policy.

It's a bit odd to know where the case stands regarding an NFL ruling. There have been more and more women coming forward over the last fifteen months. The public is starting to talk about the length of a suspension.

Based on the amount of time Waston's cases have been going on and the magnitude of the situation, it seems crazy that Kamara would be suspended beforeWatson. In the past, Roger has suspended players for less than he has done now. He is going to the opposite extreme because he is sensitive to the fact that he has been criticized for suspending players too quickly.

Up to 66 different women and 24 civil lawsuits are what he is up against, that's what. It would seem that there is enough evidence for the commissioner to make a decision. The Houston Texans provided hotel rooms and non-disclosure agreement forms in order to allow this to happen.

He decided to wait before issuing the league's punishment. I don't think there would be a problem with the league moving forward with a suspension.

The league favors an indefinite or one-year suspension for the two players. There will be a difference of a few games as a result of the suspension of the two players. I don't think we'll see him on the field. It feels like it is taking too much time for the decision to be made official.

There is a chance that he could get more than six games. If that is true, and Kamara is suspended for eight games, and Watson is suspended for 17 games, that just doesn't make sense. It is time for the National Football League to take appropriate action against players who abuse women.
