Elizabeth Warren says the Supreme Court 'set a torch' to the last of its legitimacy

The US Supreme Court has lost legitimacy because of the decision to roll back abortion rights, according to Senator Elizabeth Warren.

According to Warren, Republicans tried to stack the Supreme Court with justices who were against abortion.

The Republicans have been very overt about trying to get people through the court who didn't have a published record on the issue of abortion, but who they knew were going to be extremists. Warren spoke. That is what we ended up with.

The court is no longer legitimate. Warren said that they had burned whatever legitimacy they had. They set a torch to it after taking the last one.

Protests were sparked by the decision to overturn the abortion law. A number of prominent individuals have blasted the ruling since it was made public. Garland said that the court's decision was a blow to reproductive freedom in the United States.

White is one of the people who blames former President Donald Trump for the decision to roll back the abortion law.

During his presidential campaign, Trump promised to appoint judges and justices who would faithfully interpret the law and stand up for the original meaning of the Constitution.

During his time in office, Trump appointed three justices to the bench who voted in favor of striking down the abortion law.

Warren said we need more justices on the United States Supreme Court if we want to get some confidence back.
