The abortion clinic in North Dakota has raised more than half a million dollars since the Supreme Court's decision.

The Red River Women's Clinic is moving to Moorhead, Minnesota. One of the 13 states with a "trigger" law is North Dakota, which immediately banned abortions after the Supreme Court legalized abortion in 1973.

The director of the Red River Women's Clinic told Insider that the move to Minnesota was in the works after reports that the case could be overturned.

The only abortion clinic in North Dakota for the past two decades has been the RRFC. If abortion is banned in North Dakota, it would take 30 days for the case to be heard.

The contingency plan includes moving reproductive health services to patients. The Red River is just a few miles away from Moorhead, Minnesota, which could make it easier for people in North Dakota to get an abortion.

Protests were sparked by the decision to overturn the abortion law. A number of prominent individuals have blasted the ruling since it was made public. Attorney General Garlan said that the court's decision was a blow to reproductive freedom in the US.

At least 22 states have made it illegal to get an abortion because of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the law. Some restrictions are expected to be added.
