Loum Tchaouna, FRANCE

Age: 19 Position: Forward

Club: Rennes

Having already made a mark as a high- scoring forward in the Rennes academy and then as an occasional impact substitute for the first team, the Chad-born winger was outstanding in the five goal win against Slovakia. With his direct running, dribbling and ability to beat an opponent, the left-footed winger scored a goal and set up two as France romped to a big opening win. The energetic 19-year-old added a goal and two assists in the win over Italy to finish the group stage with five from three games. There is a top prospect who is months away from a breakthrough.

Souleymane Isaak Toure, FRANCE

Age: 19 Position: Centre-back

Club: Le Havre

The giant defender is one of the most talked about players in the tournament. Despite his large frame, the 19-year-old has good control of his body and is composed in possession. Toure is a good tackler and tends to deal with whatever comes his way in the air. Multiple top clubs in Europe are following him.

Yusuf Demir, AUSTRIA

Age: 19 Position: Midfielder

Club: Rapid Vienna

Although his brief career at Barcelona didn't go as planned, the left-footed player has made a mark for Austria throughout the tournament, despite the team not functioning. Sometimes left to carry too much responsibility on his young shoulders, he has still showcased his exquisite turns, creativity, brilliant close control and clever football brain, particularly when playing neat triangles and combinations in the last third. He showed a lot of personality as he fought hard against England in the 2-0 loss.

Oscar Gloukh, ISRAEL

Age: 18 Position: Midfielder

Club: Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Few expected that the Israeli would make such an impact after he stood out in the qualification rounds of the Euros, but he did. He has won many admirers with his performances and is rumored to be moving to 10m this summer. When running at opponents, Gloukh is a brilliant dribbler, who always seems to pick up the ball in the most favorable positions and is able to slide teammates through with perfectly weighted passes. His exquisite touch to set up the 2-1 goal against Austria was nothing short of genius and he has been unplayable at times with his flair in the final third.

Carney Chukwuemeka, ENGLAND

Age: 18 Position: Midfielder

Club: Aston Villa

Heavily tipped to be one of the stars prior to the tournament, the Villa player has not let that happen. Chukwuemeka has been in astounding form and has occasionally made it appear as if he has surpassed the level of U19 level football now. He's an athletic box-to-box player with the energy to venture up and down the pitch for the duration of the game, but he's also so elegant, smooth on the ball and technically proficient to go with it.

A scout at the tournament told me that it was difficult to think of a more ideal No. 8 for the modern game. His mentality is topnotch as well. He's going to be a great player.

Dane Scarlett, ENGLAND

Age: 18 Position: Forward

Club: Tottenham Hotspur

One of the key members of England's U19 side, the Spurs forward reproduced his form from the earlier rounds in Slovakia. The leader of the attack for an impressive England generation, though his teammate and Harvey Vale also deserve a mention, was the man who caught the eye with two opportunist goals in the win against Serbia. He has been a constant thorn in the side of the opposition due to his relentless movement and smart running behind the defence. Despite only playing a few games for the Spurs first team, Scarlett has shown that he's a centre-forward who continues to work on his game and has high potential. His breakthrough in the premier league could be imminent.

Cesare Casadei, ITALY

Age: 19 Position: Midfielder

Club: Inter Milan

He has been a mainstay in the Italy side throughout the U19 campaign. Casadei is efficient in what he does because he presses with conviction, wins the ball through excellent positioning and covers vast areas in the middle of the field. He's efficient and practical in possession and avoids unnecessary touches. Casadei is positive in his passing, always looking for attacking options, and is able to break the defensive lines with swift and accurate passes. The imposing player has good control of the ball in tight areas.

Nemanja Motika, SERBIA

Age: 19 Position: Forward

Club: Red Star Belgrade

Motika was born in Germany and is now representing Serbia. The German giants have an option to re-sign him after he was snapped up by Red Star Belgrade for 3m. Often playing from the left side, Motika likes to run at opponents with impressive speed and quick feet, before cutting in and unleashing vicious shots. He's been working on his body to compete in the more physical part of the game.
