He said that FromSoftware was working on three-and-a-half games. The studio has released all but one project since then. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and PSVR's exclusive Déraciné were released in the last year. This year, From came out with Elden Ring, leaving only one project missing. He told 4Gamer.net that the game was in the final stages.

He didn't say anything else about the project. Some fans think the game could be a new entry in the Armored Core series. The mainline entry in the franchise hasn't been released in years. In the same interview, he said that he would like to create a more abstract fantasy title in the future, and that he was already working on his next game as director.
