President Joe Biden does not agree with expanding the Supreme Court, according to the White House press secretary.

I have been asked about expanding the court before. The president doesn't agree with that. Jean-Pierre said that he doesn't want to do that.

The Supreme Court overturned the landmark case guaranteeing a right to abortion. It is illegal in twenty-two states to get an abortion.

Democrats want Biden to support legislation that would add more judges to the Supreme Court in order to counterbalance the conservative majority.

The New York Representative called on Biden and the Congressional Democrats to work on court reform.

The New York Times published an op-ed by Elizabeth Warren and Tina Smith calling on Biden to declare a public health emergency. A declaration that protects abortion access for all Americans would allow states and the federal government to meet the surge in demand for reproductive health services.

Biden created a commission to study Supreme Court reform. The commission recommended term limits for justices in a report.

Jean-Pierre did not say what actions Biden would be taking, but he did say that the President would continue to look at solutions on abortion rights.
