It is the first weekend of summer and it is time to leave the house. It's too nice to look at the weather from the wrong side of a window, whether you're going to a campsite, a beach, or a patch of grass behind your house. There are a few great outdoor deals this weekend.

Even if you bring the whole family and a few friends, never run out of drinks and snacks at the beach again. The storage capacity of the cooler is about 85 liters, which is enough to hold a large suitcase. The wheels and handle make lugging it across the parking lot painless.

This is one of the most comfortable folding camp and beach chairs I have ever sat in. The chair can hold up to 250 pounds, the build feels solid, and the wood armrests are a nice touch.

If you are like me, the first few minutes at the beach give you the feeling of being a raw pork chop that just hit the grill. It is possible to save your skin with this overhead sun shade. The Grande model is large enough to fit seven people underneath, and the aluminum hardware makes it easy to carry only about 6 pounds.

The cult sunglasses are the originals. Many cheap sunglasses don't have metal frames and quality coating that won't wear off the surface of the lens. If you like to use them around water, they are on sale for $170, which is more than enough for you.

WIRED is a big fan of the solo stove series. The larger Whitehorse model is easy to light and has nearly indestructible build quality. The smallest of the fire pits is more suited for people with limited space. The new pizza oven is included.

Scott Gilbertson gave the grill high marks for being able to use both charcoal and gas. I'm aware. There is madness. If you're cooking for a large group and don't want to mess with that many briquettes, you can use clean-burning propane instead. It has a side burner that can be used to cook up side dishes.

Some people have two trees in their backyard, but not all. This stand comes in. The stand can hold up to 300 pounds and can be used for hammocks. The hammock isn't included, but it works with any Kammock-made hammock, such as the Single Recycled and Double Recycled.

There are camping and hiking deals.

My favorite shoes for hiking are these. In the past year, I've hiked hundreds of miles on my pair, sometimes for up to 17 miles a day. They were comfortable from desert sand to the mud. I think that this is a positive because they don't have the Gore-Tex water- resistant lining. Once wet, they dry out much quicker. There is a sale on the women's size.

The leak-proof caps and tough-as-nails coating on Hydro Flask's water bottles are some of the reasons I like them. While a vacuum-insulated bottle is a luxury on any hiking trip longer than a day, it's worth the extra weight when car camping at an established height so that you can have icy cold water.

The base camp 4 is large enough for four people, and the two doors and vestibules reduce the number of tent mates climbing over each other Not everyone will be able to stand up, but it's enough room to get dressed and undressed. The poles and pole sleeves are different colors to make setup easier.

Forget fiddling with the flashlight or trying to position a lantern just right while you're setting up your tent, cooking a late supper, or packing before the sun rises. Go hands-free with your light on. The Spot 400 is a staple of hiking gear. Many people swear by them for their reliability, water resistance, and red-light setting that makes it easy to see at night. You don't have to worry about it being charged away from home because it has threeAAA batteries.
