After being asked about the disparity in gun violence between the U.S. and the U.K., Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene told the reporter to go back to her country.
"We don't have guns in the U.K., that's true, but we don't have mass shootings either." The children are not scared of going to school.
There are other pro-gun House Republicans. Lady, you have mass stabbings, sir. There are laws against all kinds of murder.
The reporter said that the rates were the same.
You can return to your country and worry about your guns. "We like ours here."

The United States has a higher rate of homicides than the United Kingdom.
According to a United Nations Global Study on Homicide, firearms accounted for over half of all homicides in the world.
The US has some of the strictest gun control laws in the developed world. Over the past few years, England, Scotland and Wales have seen a lot of gun deaths. There were 19,384 murders involving firearms in the US in 2020.
A bipartisan gun bill that cleared an initial hurdle in the Senate on Tuesday has been criticized by many of her House GOP colleagues. The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act would expand background checks and direct millions of dollars to help states pass red-flag laws that allow authorities to temporarily seize firearms from individuals deemed dangerous to themselves or others.
A group of 14 Republicans voted to proceed with the bill.
During her press conference, she stated that Republican voters don't support them anymore.
She said that they need to change their party.
A majority of voters, including Republicans and gun owners, are in favor of background checks and red flag laws.
