The US Open champion isn't being distracted by commercial interests, according to her agent.
Max Eisenbud said that the corporate world was interested in the win in New York.
He says his company has left million of dollars off the table by limiting the number of sponsor days.
Eisen bud said they could have done 50 days of shoots.
There was a lot of interest in Emma after the US Open.
He is a brand ambassador for nine companies.
The contracts are worth tens of millions of dollars.
The year on the court has been unprofitable. The 19-year-old has only played 19 games this season and has not won a match.
People shouldn't draw a link between those difficulties and her commercial interests.
He admitted that it had been a difficult year. She was playing catch up because she didn't have a great off-season and that hurt her a lot.
Everything would be the same if she didn't have any shoot dates.
If she locked herself in the room for the entire year and didn't do anything, it would be the same.
This is the third professional experience that Eisenbud has had.
Li was watched by an estimated 116 million people in China as she captured her first Grand Slam title at the French Open in 2011.
After her Centre Court victory, Eisenbud rented a room for a meeting with her father. The father wanted to make sure his daughter stayed focused and kept winning.
They both agreed there was no time for commercial work in the weeks leading up to and immediately after the tournament.
"So we did this exercise through the entire year and we figured out that there was probably 18 days a year that she can give to sponsors that won't affect her tennis training or her tournament schedule."
After a few years, Li's family decided they liked the sound of that approach, and now the model has been agreed upon.
With the same philosophy, Eisenbud said. "Never a week or so before a tournament, never in a tournament week and never right after the tournament" I understand how people who don't understand that philosophy think that it distracts her, but I think you can see how it's laid out.
Emma decided that she wanted to start her shoots at 12pm or 1pm and go until 8pm or 9pm, so she could either work out or do some fitness in the morning."
Some days have not been used. Many of the sponsors do not use those days.
She will use 13 days by the end of the year.
"But when the 19th day comes and it's millions of dollars and you have to say 'no' because you're being true to the 18 days - it's difficult."
