Khaby Lame unseats Charli D'Amelio as the most-followed account on TikTok

The most followed TikTok account is occupied by a comedian who never says a word.

D'Amelio had a follower count of 142.3 million, but the follower count of a 22-year-old from Italy was 148.6 million.

The duet feature of TikTok made Lame rise to prominence. He would complete the task in silence and with no reaction from the audience. His recent content has grown more elaborate and he has collaborated with other creators. The campaign to get the top spot was led by Noah Glenn Carter of TikTok.

The star is on the rise Offline too. BOSS asked the TikTokker to be on their runway at Milan Fashion Week in September of 2021. He collaborated with the fashion house on a capsule collection that included a doll of himself.
