A Burger King employee who is celebrating 27 years on the job says he was let down by a mediocre bag from his company. You might want to grab some Kleenex.

Kevin Ford, who works as a cook/cashier at the Las Vegas airport, told us how his employer marked his anniversary. Kevin doesn't want people to think he's ungrateful, he just found the reward a little lackluster.

He told us that the company from which Burger King hires sent him something that felt like something they had in their office.

Employees would get checks for their anniversary with the company if Kevin was around.

Kevin told us that he's thankful for his job and doesn't want to criticize his company.

With more than 25 years under his belt, someone stepped up to show appreciation.

He got emotional when he told us about his daughter's campaign to raise money for him to go to Texas to visit his children. Kevin will use it to take a day off and buy a new car. It's smart.
