When FedEx doesn't require a signature, they'll take photos of packages at your doorstep.

FedEx is the first company to announce that residential customers will be able to use the service.

Both FedEx Express and FedEx Ground delivery customers will be able to use the free service without a login to the FedEx Delivery Manager.

The new program will be a good source of protection for FedEx, and it should also help business owners whose customers have reported that their package hasn't been delivered. It will be helpful for customers to know if packages ever made it to their door.

The program called Photo On Delivery was introduced by Amazon. It was supposed to be used to help customers locate their packages, but it was only available in certain areas. The images could be used by Amazon to verify a package's location, perform quality control, and investigate any issues raised by a customer. The program allowed customers who didn't want their packages taken to opt out.

Customers who don't have a FedEx account will be able to see their image through FedEx's tracking tool. Those with an account can see it.

FedEx says that the service will first be available for FedEx Delivery Manager users in select markets before launching to customers in the US and Canada.
