The NBA draft will take place on Thursday at 8 p.m. There is an hour and a half time. They haven't done anything with zoo animals yet.

The Memphis Zoo shipped Ja Raffe, a year-and-a-half-old male giraffe named after Ja Morant, to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City.

The giraffe was not traded between the zoos according to officials at the Hogle Zoo. An animal will not be returned to the zoo.

According to Marilyn Hsiung of the Hogle Zoo, more than likely, his parents will continue to reproduce after his birth. He will be suggested to participate in the Species Survival Program when he's of breeding age.

Despite being named after a Utah Jazz player, the giraffe at the Hogle Zoo won't be changing its name.

Hsiung said that they could still make a strong connection with his name and that of Ja Morant.
