What is the biggest threat to the Golden State Warriors' dynasty? (0:58)

The salary cap is the biggest threat to the Warriors' talent. There is a time and a place.

Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers and head coach Steve Kerr had a discussion about how they didn't think their team was good enough for a championship. Compared to the title teams they'd worked with before, this one didn't have the obvious markers of a champion.

The Warriors got better and better as the playoffs went on.

Kerr said that Bob and he both shifted their opinions as we went. Maybe we do have a chance after we kept getting better.

There is a belief that this group will be even better next year. For that to happen, the Warriors need a lot of their players to come back. That may be difficult.

Two of Golden State's seven free agents are restricted. The team is over the tax by over twenty million dollars.

"Free agency is in our control to a certain extent, but in some ways, it's not," he said at the end of the season news conference. I hope our players will be able to respond to an offer. The people don't have to. They don't have to. If you win, you'll get a good environment. You may be able to match something.

The goal is to bring those guys back and try to do it again. All of them were great in different ways. Many of our free agents had big moments in the NBA finals.

The Warriors have seven unrestricted free agents. They would like to bring back Looney, Porter and Payton.

Both Andrew and Jordan are up for extension. The agreements might not be finalized for a while, but they are still a priority. The Warriors have until the 17th of October to sign an extension. There is no deadline for Wiggins, who is entering the last year of his contract from Minnesota.

The negotiations take on their own. All of them are different. It comes down to training camp and the end-of-the-line deadline for Jordan. We don't know what Andrew wants or what his agent wants but I know what we want. We are going to do everything we can to keep both of them. They were a big deal for us.

With the Warriors uncertain about what their roster will look like in a few weeks, it will be difficult for them to have an exact plan going into Thursday's draft.

The disadvantage of having the draft before free agency is that. We don't know Let's take the best player." We should try to recover in free agency if we discover that we are unbalanced.

Golden State has so many free agents that he doesn't care about preserving a roster spot for anyone.

Money won't be a factor if the Warriors keep their picks or trade them away. It's going to come down to fit.

The payroll is the highest in the league. It's not that close." Joe has always wanted to win. We need to know if we can get value in free agency for some of these guys. We aren't just going to spend. Last year, we didn't do that.

The Warriors' front office will have to make a decision on their draft picks Thursday night. The free agents will have to wait until early July to make a decision.

The Warriors want to run it back with as many of the same players as possible as they try to live up to their words and get even better.
