The first thing that caught our eye was the fact that Apple has just released the second developer version of its mobile operating system. The company has indicated that it is getting serious about streamlining your messages.
The new update includes a lot of things.
The new update allows developers of filter extensions, like the one built by Truecaller, or Apple's own SMS filter available in India and Brazil, to classify non- personal messages into 12 sub- categories within "Transactions" and "Promotions." The transactions and promotions categories include Finance, Reminders, Health, Public Services, Weather, Carrier, rewards, and others.
During this year's Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple explained how developers can incorporate these categories into their text messages. The new categories will only be available for Indians. We want to know if these sub-categories will be available in other countries, and we will update the story if we hear back.

extractable events, such as a movie or a train ticket booking, will be included in the calendar in India. Apple wants you to stay on the train.
U.S. users have some joy as well. The new "Report Junk" feature in the Messages app will allow users to report junk messages to carriers. There is no information about which carriers will be the only ones that will be able to use this feature.
If you use your phone in dual-SIM mode, you will be able to filter messages based on their sim cards.
For a long time, apps like the Microsoft SMS Organizer have made it easy for users to see different types of text messages. This new sub-category division brings the Messages app with it, even though it was not included in the original version of Apple's mobile operating system.
