The England athletics team will compete at the Commonwealth Games in the summer.

The women's 100m and 4x100m are the events in which Asher-Smith won a gold medal.

Johnson-Thompson will be defending her title.

Hodgkinson and Bradshaw won medals at the Tokyo Olympics.

hammer thrower Nick Miller and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey are both hoping to repeat their gold medals from the Gold Coast next year. Ugen will be competing in a long jump event.

Matthew Hudson-Smith and Adam Gemili are also included.

Being selected is a great honor. Hudson-Smith said that it's his third Commonwealth Games selection and he thinks it's the most important.

It will mean a lot to be able to compete at home in front of friends and family.

"I've been training at the Alexander Stadium since I was ten so it will be quite an emotional roller coaster for me, but with all the training and the experiences that I've gone through I feel like I am a lot more prepared than I've ever been." I am looking forward to it, but it is going to be fun.

The Commonwealth Games are held from July to August.
