Russia is threatening the military bloc and lashing out at its closest neighbors, according to a report from Estonia.

According to the defense ministry, a Russian Mi-8 helicopter entered the region without permission for two minutes on Saturday.

Sky News reported that the top civil servant of the ministry said that Russia was planning missile attacks against the country.

The NATO summit in Madrid, Spain, will be held on June 29th.

NATO members are expected to discuss how they can strengthen the alliance in response to Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin used NATO's expansion to justify his invasion of Ukraine.

In May, Russia's neighbor, which applied to join NATO that month in light of Russia's invasion, said a Russian helicopter entered its airspace.

Russia is threatening another of its neighbors as well.

Lithuania, which is an EU and NATO member, told Moscow that it would be violating EU sanctions if it allowed Russian materials to go through its territory.

Coal, metals, construction materials, and tech goods were banned from entering the EU by member states after Russia invaded Ukraine.

The Secretary of Russia's Security Council said that the decision to block goods will have a negative impact on the population ofLithuania.
