Fortnite is testing a clever way to help you find teammates

Being matched up with random players is not a great way to play the game. It can be difficult to coordinate an effective strategy in a randomized group if some team members want to rush into battle while others prefer to play it slowly. New social tags for profiles will let you indicate how you like to play and can be used to match you up with other like minded players.

Things like your favorite game modes and whether you want to use a mic will be included in the tags. You can send and receive party invites from people with matching tags who are in your server region if you add at least one social tag. If you don't want to get invites from other players based on your tags, just switch it off.

You might not have social tags and looking for party features just yet. The features will be gradually rolled out to all players. It is important that you have the latest update of the game.
