The Pittsburgh Steeler signed a one-year deal with a former Cincinnati Bengal.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The Baltimore Ravens were the only team not to have had him on their team.

After failing his physical with the Chicago Bears, Ogunjobi visited the New York Jets. The Bears wouldn't say why he failed the physical, but he did have surgery.

There was a need for defensive line depth after the retirement of Tuitt. After the run defense finished last in the league a season ago, Ogunjobi will be the most important player to stop the run in the future. A year ago in Cincinnati, he had 12 tackles for loss.

There was a time when Ogunjobi was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was given a one game suspension for his involvement in the on-field altercation between the two quarterbacks.

Last season, Ogunjobi had a career-high seven sacks, which was tied for the third most of any interior defensive lineman, as part of the overhaul that helped the Bengals go from the lowest sack total in the league in 2020 to 11th in 2021.

His sack total last season was less than half of what he had in the previous four seasons.

After suffering a foot injury in the wild-card victory against the Las Vegas Raiders, he missed most of Cincinnati's run to the Super Bowl.

The third round draft pick has 21.5 career sacks with 229 tackles and two forced turnovers.
