Oh, look who it is.

It's a relative term. In any case, WWE is as far from wrong as can be. The TV deals they have are more lucrative than Scrooge McDuck's. USA and Fox are happy with the ratings. Most of the arenas are filled. Would anyone inside the house complain about something?

Outside of the inner circle, the weekend was gross. The booking, lack of ideas, and sloth we are used to were exhausting. Vince McMahon couldn't wait to use the middle finger on the heels of being outed as a scumbag to his employees and possibly stealing from his board.

On the same day that McMahon temporarily stepped down as CEO of the company, he released a second statement stating he wouldn't be removing himself as head of creative. The cover was a representation of Vince McMahon and not the real Vince McMahon. There is nothing different between the two. The figgiest of leaves.

McMahon's appearance was nothing more than a display of his power and his delight in being so. It is worth asking what the fans were cheering for when he got the ovation he wanted. Is it true that they adore Vince? McMahon doesn't love them as he makes decisions that show contempt for the fans. He was caught around the office. Is that he was in danger? Is it possible they could tell you? It's probably not. If it were to come out that the NDAs and payments are worse than consensual relationships with employees, they would still cheer for him.

Vince reminded everyone that he can't be moved, he can't be changed, even when it's to the disgust of his team. It isn't like he had anything to say or do which he hasn't done in a long time. He probably doesn't care about being removed from his position. It was obvious from the beginning that John Laurinaitis would be the fall guy. Bruce Prichard replaced Laurinaitis as head of talent relations. At the end of the day, they are expendable and McMahon cares about controlling the product.

He doesn't care about the product at all. He hates it because he's always trying to be seen as a wrestling promoter. He can't live without the power of being the center of the company, but also the center of the entire industry, as his appearances on SmackDown and Raw showed.

Thanks to him forcing himself into the pivot point of the company, fans are treated to the same dross he has been tossing out for a long time. After the 17 we have had before, we get another Madcap Moss vs. Baron Corbin match. The New Day was wasted. McIntyre and Sheamus were inserted into the match for no reason at all. The man was given three minutes to waste the woman.

One of the company's true unique talents, and they'd rather let her walk than use her gifts and wattage in a proper manner, all because they think they can just produce another one. A combination of arrogance and ignorantness.

Even after a rare appearance from Roman Reigns and a match with relatively new on the main event scene, Brock Lesnar came back. This was the best Vince could come up with in the wake of injuries to Randy Orton andCody Rhodes, and it happened just two months after their Mania match. The fact that Randy Orton is still in the running to be a tentpole of the company's second biggest show tells you a lot.

There are a lot of people on the roster who could make a great match with Roman. There is a person who has his own feelings about Brock coming back. Kevin Owens is near that spot. There is a man there. Drew McIntyre is near that spot. There is a chance this could continue. The thought that Vince put into it was to go back to the well he always goes to. It would take three minutes to think about it.

The fans will continue to clap. The eyeballs will watch the show. There is more than enough lifers that will never leave and will give the response Vince needs. McMahon has been assured that he doesn't need to change. The idea of a "war" with AEW was laughable. For a long time, WWE had the floor to itself, which made it hard for fans to get to know it.

McMahon appeared on Raw last night to show how much he is. He has run the company like that for a long time. He needs to be reminded when he is in danger. We're reminded all the time.
