Nothing phone (1) hands-on shows how it plans to illuminate the market

The Nothing Phone won't be released until July, limiting what can be seen in the video. The unique lighting system that will be on the back of the phone was shared byMKBHD. The system is said to be made up of over 900 LEDs.

The Nothing phone's settings app provides an array of different styles that can be applied. They light up different areas of the phone, and can be applied to specific apps.

There is nothing special about taking pictures or recording videos. The Glyph array can be used as a fill light for the cameras. There is a red light on the back of the camera.

Some of the charging features are tied to the lights on the Nothing Phone. The lights around the wireless charging pad will turn on when you are charging. The lights at the bottom of the phone illuminate to show if the phone is charging or not, as well as providing an indication of how much battery is left.

One of the more interesting devices of the year is the Nothing Phone. We will have to wait until July to find out if it's one of the best phones. It doesn't look like it will disrupt the market with its first phone.
