Sources have told ESPN that four-time major champion Brooks Koepka is the latest golfer to defect from the PGA Tour.

Two-time Open winner Greg Norman is fronted by one of the highest-profile players to join the break away circuit, which is funded by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.

Sources have confirmed that LIV Golf is going to announce the addition of Koepka in the next few days. The first LIV Golf event in the United States is expected to take place in Portland, Oregon, on June 30.

The Telegraph of London reported Tuesday that the golfer would be leaving the tour soon.

Abraham Ancer, who is ranked 20th in the world, is leaving the PGA Tour to join the LIV Golf team.

The event in Portland is expected to feature two of the top-40 players in the world, as well as the 30th and 38th ranked ones.

Two weeks ago, the PGA Tour suspended 17 players, including Johnson, for competing in a golf tournament outside London. Tour players who compete in future LIV Golf tournaments without a conflicting-event release will face the same punishment.

The Travelers Championship takes place in Cromwell, Connecticut. The council was meeting Tuesday.

The media is invited to speak with the person.

He became the first player in history to win back-to-back majors in the same year.

The brothers competed in the London-based event. The two-time major champion signed with LIV Golf.

The No.1 player in the world for 47 weeks has been bothered by injuries. In 15 starts, he has two top 10s, but didn't do well in the first three majors. He missed the cut at the Masters, was tied for 55th at the PGA Championship and was 55th at the U.S. Open.

He is 84th in the FedExCup. He is playing in a tournament.

A black cloud over the U.S. Open was cast by reporters with questions about LIV Golf.

He said he was at the US Open. I'm ready to play the U.S. Open, but I think it's kind of sucks, you're all throwing this black cloud over it. The event is one of my favorites. I'm not sure why you guys are doing that. The more legs you give, the more people talk about it.

Ancer is a dual citizen of Mexico and the United States. He won at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude in Memphis. He finished in the top 10 in two of the last three majors.

Illness was the reason why Ancer pulled out of the U.S. Open. He isn't working for the Travelers.

Ancer was one of the bright spots for the international team. His only loss was against Tiger Woods in a singles match.
