A number of websites and services went down today due to an issue with Cloudflare's server. The online security company got these services back up and running, but it was chaotic for a few minutes.

The issue that caused the outage has been identified and a fix is being implemented. The issue was reported at 6:30 a.m. according to the incident report. The problem was identified at 6:57 a.m. and the fix was implemented at 7:21 a.m.

In the initial report, Cloudflare stated that their network has been disrupted. 500 errors will be observed when balls attempt to reach Cloudflare sites. All data plane services are affected by the incident.

Many websites were affected, including Amazon Web Services.
