Is Tyson Fury going to return? He said he would retire after his sixth-round win over Dillian Whyte, but recently said he would be tempted to box again if he got paid 500 million dollars.

If you want me out of retirement, it will cost half a billion.

Here is a look at what the future holds for the self-proclaimedGypsy King.

Faces winner of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua rematch

play

In front of 94,000+ strong, Tyson Fury won the opening rounds of his fight.

When your bank balance is over a billion dollars, you have more motivation than money, and that will not affect Tyson's decision about boxing again. If he returns, he will face the winner of Usyk-Joshua II for the chance to secure his legacy, not for money, and a place in history.

Tyson and Dillian are opponents.

•Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz

•Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 2

•Tyson Fury vs. Otto Wallin

The temptation to secure his legacy and claim the other three world title belts is unlikely, no matter what he says. That will be the motivator.

An all-English fight against Joshua in the summer of 2016 would be bigger than any fight Tyson has been involved in. The two English fighters agreed to fight each other in 2020, only for them to change their minds. Two years ago, the value of the fight was $200 million.

When it comes to assessing his career, he knows that walking away from boxing before facing either Usyk or Joshua is not a good idea, and he knows that.

It's possible: 5/5.

Stays retired, never boxes again

If he sticks to his demand that he only fight for half a billion dollars, he won't fight again as no fight with Joshua would guarantee him that sort of money.

In an interview with Talk TV, he said that he has no interest in fighting anymore and that he is happy in retirement. I will return for half a billion. I don't know what that is. I'll look at the numbers when they're on the table.

We don't take him seriously because he has made outrageous comments before. It was less than a year ago that he said what his next five fights would be. "Then I might take two years off, go nuts again and then come back at 37 and do it all again," he said.

When he returned after 212 years away from the sport after winning the world title, he also came out of retirement.

The outcome of the second Usyk-Joshua fight could have an effect on the decision.

Usyk became a two-weight world champion when he defeated Joshua in September last year. Russia's invasion of Usyk's homeland of Ukranian and the ongoing war there have delayed the sequel.

If Joshua were to lose a second time, the chances of them fighting would be damaged. Would he be motivated to fight Usyk for less money than a fight with Joshua?

It's likely to be 3/6.

Boxes a contender next

The highest-ranked contender is Joe Joyce, who has beaten all 13 opponents he has faced, including two by draw. Joyce works with Frank Warren as well.

It is unlikely that Joyce will face Christian Hammer in the United Kingdom until the end of the year because of pay-per-view sales in the country.

Joyce is a dangerous opponent for Fury. Both Chisora and Dubois could be alternatives.

It's likely to be 3/6.

Career change, enters WWE, never returns to boxing

A count-out win over Braun Strowman in Saudi Arabia in the middle of the year reportedly earned him £12 million, making him one of the highest paid wrestlers in the world.

SummerSlam will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 30th. It seems like it's too early. The biggest wrestling event in the UK in the past 30 years is taking place in Wales in September.

It would be good for the company to have a boost with recent stars of the company retiring. The same path has been taken by former boxers like Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather. Don't expect the Gypsy King to move to full-time wrestling if he doesn't want to continue his boxing career. With less risk than prizefighting, it's likely that he'll be seen in WWE again.

It is likely that 1/6.

Boxes UFC heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou next

play

There is a chance of a fight between Tyson and Francis.

Fans were teased by the fact that Fury posed with Ngannou in the ring after his victory. Nothing has changed since the pair talked about a boxing match during an interview.

Due to Ngannou's contractual commitment to the UFC, he won't be fighting on this year's card. If it can be worked out, the interim bout could be between usyk and Joshua.

It's likely to be 2/6.

Reality TV

At some point, it will be certain, but it won't affect his boxing career. He has a lot to say on any topic. With the final chapters of his boxing career still to be played out, there will be more with the focus of reality TV on Tyson and his family.

It's likely to be 5.
