In a report from Space.com, the company stated that it had accomplished 3 launches in 36 hours. The sequence of missions by the company was the fastest ever.

The Globalstar communications satellite was put into space by a two-stage Falcon 9 rocket. The company launched its Starlink internet satellites from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The German military received a radar satellite from the second mission.

The success from this past weekend has a lot of people excited. Seven years ago, the first Falcon 9 core landed successfully, and now the company has achieved 3 separate launches, on both sides of North America, and recovered boosters. It's pretty good for a company that used to be associated with failed rockets.

It took place days after internal criticism of Musk erupted into public view. On June 15th, an open letter was sent to company networks stating that Musk's public statements had become an embarrassment for some employees. In an email to the New York Times, Shotwell confirmed that a number of employees had been fired.

"As our CEO and most prominent spokesman, Elon is seen as the face of the company," the letter said. To make clear to our teams and potential talent pool that his messaging does not reflect our work, our mission, or our values is important.

Despite the recent controversy, Space X's achievement in practical booster reuse has put them decades ahead of their competitors.
