Clinton said in a recent interview that Putin was "very sexist" towards her and that they would sometimes have helpful interactions away from the media.

During a conversation with The Financial Times, Clinton spoke of her diplomatic efforts with the man that she once said " doesn't have a soul" and who launched the ongoing invasion ofUkraine, remarking on his sexism during her tenure as Secretary of State.

She said that Putin was sexist towards her after Clinton said it was difficult to forge a relationship with him.

She said that the press would be invited in and he would insult America. He would spread around.

In a 2012 statement, Clinton advocated for Russians who were protesting against Putin's return to power in Moscow.

The former secretary of state said that Putin's path to victory in Ukraine would be tied to a Trump victory in 2024.

She told the Financial Times that if Trump had been elected, he would have pulled out of NATO.

If Trump were to get a second term in office, Putin would be in favor of removing the United States from NATO, according to former national security advisor JohnBolton.

During a talk hosted by The Washington Post in which he pointed out Trump's suggestion to leave the alliance, he said he thought he put his foot over it. I think he withdrew from NATO in his second term. I believe that Putin was waiting for that.

The leader sees NATO membership as a threat to Russia and has opposed it before.
