The New York Jets are located in New Jersey.

This is the first thing. Robert Saleh is a media-savvy coach who knows how to control the message, and that's exactly what he tried to do with his comment about the quarterback, "He doesn't need to be Tom Brady."

Even though he was the second pick in the draft, it was unfair to expect him to be a star in Year 2.

A reality check was provided at the end of the offseason, perhaps trying to contain expectations which have grown amid a bounty. It's possible that it was a notice to Wilson, who often tried to play hero ball as a first year player.

The people are forgetting that he has a young offensive supporting cast. The O-line is just jelling together and the receiver is young. He's not old.

The quote came from that.

If he ends up being Brady, that's great, but that's not the expectation for him. He is expected to continue to climb that mountain.

Wilson delivered some Tom Brady and a little Brady. His performance ranged from good to choppy.

According to the coaching staff, his decision-making, command and overall feel for the progression-based passing scheme are better than last year. He looks like a different quarterback than the one who was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. He knows when he makes a mistake and doesn't need the coaches to tell him. It shows a better understanding of the position.

Wilson misses a lot of throws. His completion rates behind the line of scrimmage and within 1-8 yards were the worst in the league. It was a rough year for rookies. Wilson needs to do a better job of getting his eyes in the right spot at the right time according to the coaches. His to-do list includes that. A quarterback doesn't want to miss a lot of lay-ups.

Don't be afraid. Wilson's consistency should increase as the year goes on. He has to be better than a 56% passer to get a miracle turn around.

Wilson said that he has a lot of faith in himself. I think I can be good. They're not a true competitor if nobody says that.

There are two Is it possible that it's unstoppable? Fans and players are excited about the team "Teams shouldn't be able to guard all three of us, that's for sure," he said. The way we're moving, the way we're flowing, I think it's going to be unstoppable.

Let's stop the enthusiasm. The receiving corps is new. Moore and Wilson are developing players while Davis is a veteran. The same could be said of the runners. They have four of their top five backs under the age of 24. Both the quarterback and the person.

There will be pain.

There are three. Wilson and his receivers will gather at an undisclosed location in July for a couple of days of pitch-and- catch. No play will be part of the plan. Fun activities are planned.

There are four. The Jets are in a good financial position. The offensive-line coach said it doesn't matter who plays left tackle because the two tackle spots are interchangeable. The amount of his paycheck doesn't matter to him.

There is a difference in the salaries of different positions. The five highest-paid left tackles are paid an average of $21.3 million a year. Even though he would be fine with a move to right tackle, you can bet he wants to stay at left tackle. The fifth year of his contract must be decided by May of next year.

Fant is in the middle of contract talks and wants to stay at left tackle. The team's secret may be explained by that. If he anointed the left tackle, it would give him more power. A left-tackle competition could be a motivator for Becton during the break.

If he goes to the right, it will be a defeat for the office. He was selected by the Jets in 2020 as a potential franchise left tackle. It was one of the factors that separated him from the person they thought was a right tackle.

An All-Pro right tackle, Wirfs was picked 13th in the first round of the draft.

There are five. Is it possible for Becton to turn around again? There's frustration within the organization about his conditioning, but there's also hope that he can rebound and reach his potential, like he did at the University.

The Cards brought in a new coaching staff in 2019. His fire seemed to go up in flames. They're new for Becton, who only played one game for them in the previous year.

A key stage in his career has already been reached by Becton, who is planning to make people eat their words.

There are six. There will be another highly scrutinized player in training camp. Mims has turned the corner according to the feeling inside the building. The 2020 second-round pick is in better shape than he was a year ago, which is good news for his chances of making the team.

After the coaching change, Mims had to learn all of the receiver spots in a new scheme. He struggled with the change. He seems to be getting on board. It may be difficult for him to get on the field because of the upgrade at the position.

There are seven. Some lesser-known players stood out in practice, including wide receiver Jeff Smith, who caught a one-handed touchdown in mini camp.

There was no contact, no running game, and no coverage of any kind. The stars fade in August. The tight ends coach said it very well. "When we get the plastic on the shoulder pads, that's when you have to show you belong," he said.

There are eight. When do the National Football League teams start preparing for the season? The Ravens are the Jets' Week 1 opponent.

Jeff Ulbrich said that the defense faced about 30 Baltimore running plays during walk-through periods. The Ravens have a unique running game with quarterback Lamar Jackson. It's not possible to prepare for it in a few days.
