Bradley's future might be a lot clearer in a few weeks.

The Washington Wizards player is not tipping his hand.

He said it would probably be like it always is when it comes to free agency.

His answer was the same when asked how he expects his situation to play out. I think it's crazy.

The Wizards' summer depends on what happens with Beal. Although he indicated earlier this year that he was leaning towards re-signing with Washington, there are certainly other teams that would love to have him.

When asked how many people have tried to lure him to their team, it was clear that was the case.

He said a lot. I cannot give you names.

The Benjamin Banneker basketball court was refurbished at a ribbon-cutting event. The NBA Cares Community Assist Award winner told the young people in attendance that he wanted the courts to be something the community could enjoy.

This is where I started when I was small. We were outside all day.

When talking to reporters, he was asked what his presence at the event meant to him.

He said that he didn't mix the two. I received love from the beginning. I've been accepted by the city since I was a freshman, and I'm going into Year 11 with the same love. I have tried to pay that back in different ways.

In each of the past six seasons, Beal has averaged at least 22 points per game for the Wizards. The career high was 31.3 points in 2020-21.

Before last season, the Wizards traded Russell Westbrook to make up for the loss of him. He had surgery on his wrist in February and finished his season early. Washington finished with a 35-47 record.

If Beal stays, the Wizards will have a chance to watch that pair in action. There was a little rust at the event. He missed two shots before taking the ceremonial first shot.

He said his recovery from the wrist surgery is going well. He said he has a good amount of motion back.

He said that the rest would be strengthened. It's good to be cleared to do things on the court.
