One of the most read stories this week was the layoffs at the company. The company said on Tuesday that it would be laying off 18% of its workforce.

Kaiser violated the rules. An employee's email account was hacked, potentially exposing tens of thousands of patients' records. Kaiser said the data included names, dates of service and lab test results.

This week, more layoffs were disclosed by other companies. The real estate tech companies confirmed cuts of 450 employees each.

Val Kilmer underwent a tracheotomy in order to treat throat cancer. Sonantic was asked to re-create Val Kilmer's voice in the movie "Top Gun: Maverick." Sonantic is being acquired by Spotify. What's the reason? They aren't getting too specific, but it's not hard to imagine howSpotify could put realistic-yet-simulated voices to use

Dogecoin, a coin that started as a joke, exploded in value and then collapsed, causing a lawsuit to be filed. A class action lawsuit was filed in Manhattan this week that claims Musk used his position as the world's richest man to operate and manipulate the Doge coin pyramid scheme for profit.

On Wednesday of this week, employees at the company wrote an open letter to the company's internal chat system that said "Elon's behavior in the public sphere is a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment." At least one of the employees involved in the letter had been terminated by Friday morning.
