The president fell from his bike while he was in town to celebrate his 45th wedding anniversary with his wife.

The fall took place in front of the press pool. He stood upright after the incident.

His foot got caught.

Biden, who arrived in town yesterday, said he had a hard time taking his shoes out of the bike's pedals, which led to the fall.

He spoke with the public and the reporters after he got back up, opining on the bipartisan gun reform framework currently beinghed out in Washington, DC.

Do you remember what they did in Delaware? An assault weapons ban was passed. I did the same thing a long time ago. He was happy with the progress.

When he is in Delaware, the president rides his bike in the vicinity of his home, which he represented in the Senate from 1973 to 2009 before becoming vice president.

The White House stated that Biden did not need medical attention.
