One of the richest people on the planet is asking the judge presiding over his pending divorce to deny child support from his soon-to-be ex-wife. Brin doesn't want her to pay child support.
It may be the grossest thing to come out of Brin's divorce with the attorney and businesswoman. Four years ago, the two married and had a child. Brin filed for a quiet divorce with the Santa Clara Superior Court that was obtained by Insider.
Brin and Shanahan are looking to split due to irreconcilable differences. Insider states that the Santa Clara Superior Court records show that Brin and Shanahan separated in December of last year.
Brin had already divorced 23andMe founder Anne Wojcicki before he got together with Shanahan. The couple had been married for about eight years and already had two children together.
It is still an open question as to how their assets will be divided, seeing how Brin is a mogul in her own right. According to the divorce proceedings, there are some assets that the couple own, but how they will be divided is not yet known. The New York Post reported that they bought P!nk's old house in Malibu for $13.5 million.
According to Insider, Brin is asking for joint custody of the child, the same way he shared duties over the kids he had with his former wife. Brin isn't asking for child support from Shanahan, but he wants her not to be awarded any. That's a man.
