If you don't remember, "Threshold" is the episode where flight control officer Tom Paris evolved into the future in a single day. The show assumed that the future of humanity was in becoming yellow bipedal catfish monsters and wrecked the classic Trek premise. What really put "Threshold" into the annals of Trek infamy was how Paris kidnapped Captain Janeway and they both became non-bipedal catfish lizards.

They had babies and had sex. While abandoning their offspring on the swamp planet, the Voyager crew took Janeway and Paris and de-evolved them back to normal. It's messed up, but it's also a perfect example of the classic Trek cartoon from the 70s. The music that plays when the brood is dead-on is hilarious.

If the past is any indication, then it's time for Gazelle to tackle Deep Space Nine and ENTERPRISE. The studio is going to get its hands on Discovery.
