It can be devastating if you don't get a phone call or email.

When you know you have your phone with you, it's even more frustrating because your phone isn't telling you anything.

How to fix iPhone notifications

Try these 5 fixes if you don't get notifications on your phone.

Restart your iPhone

If you have an issue with your phone, restart it.

Here are the ways you can restart them all.

To restart an Apple product.

This is the first thing. Volume up or volume down buttons are held down.

Make sure notifications are turned on 

Sometimes the reason you don't get notifications is that you turned them off. You can double check your notifications.

This is the first thing. The settings app needs to be opened.

There are six. You can allow notification in the notification settings. You should turn it on if it is gray because it will become green.

Turn on mobile data 

The internet is required for some apps. Make sure you turn on your mobile data.

This is the first thing. The settings app needs to be opened.

Check your Wi-Fi connection 

You may want to check if you're connected to the internet via wi-fi. There is a way to check your wi-fi connection.

You can connect to a network listed under Public Networks or other networks.

The Control Center can be used to connect to or update a wi-fi network.

Reset your iPhone's settings 

When all others have failed, this should be the final option. All of your passwords, preferences, and networks will be erased if you change all of your settings on your phone. Personal data, such as text messages, photos, and apps, will not be lost.

It's a good idea to back up your phone using a computer or cloud service before changing its settings.
