There is a statement from the World Wrestling Entertainment.

“Special Committee of the Board is conducting an investigation into alleged misconduct by its Chairman and CEO Vincent McMahon and John Laurinaitis, head of talent relations, and that, effective immediately, McMahon has voluntarily stepped back from his responsibilities as CEO and Chairman of the Board until the conclusion of the investigation.”

The bombshell report by the Wall Street Journal detailing McMahon's sexual relationship with this ex-employee came just days after.

McMahon said that he would do everything he could to support the investigation. I have promised to accept the findings of the investigation.

This could be the end of Vince McMahon.

McMahon's daughter, who took a leave of absence from the company in May, will be the interim CEO and chairwoman.

The company may fall into the hands of president Nick Khan, who has no relation to Tony Khan, and has been an influential figure behind the scenes for the company since he was hired. The web is uncoiled about the spoils of McMahon and one of his associates. There is more horrible information about the higher-ups that has yet to be revealed. The more damning details emerge, the worse it will be for the company.

This is not a good story. Don't forget to check back for the latest news.
