Nearly two months after agreeing to buy the company, Musk addressed employees of the company today.
Even though he doesn't have a way out of the deal, Musk still hasn't said whether he will complete the acquisition or not. Staff fears about the direction of the company, as well as whether or not they will be forced to work from the headquarters, were not addressed by his all-hands call.

Musk told employees that the app should be similar to TikTok, which is owned by the Chinese company Byte Dance. He said that they could do the same thing as TikTok.
Musk wants users to opt into a reverse-chronological feed instead of using the algorithmic feed. He said on May 14 that you are being manipulated by the system.
According to Musk, he wants to create a Chinese version of the social networking site. Musk didn't say how he plans to build a payments business, but he did say that he wants to build a 15 million dollar business in three years.
According to The New York Times, Musk called into the meeting "unusually late" and appeared to be videoconference from his cell phone with poor audio and reception.
He answered many questions about whether employees would be allowed to work from home.
He said that it is not possible to build cars from home. He said that employees who are exceptional at their jobs can still work from home, but that he prefers to work in person. Musk said that remote work reduces the company's spirit.
Musk has ranted about the number of bots using the service and has even asserted that he has the right to end the deal over this data.
Musk said that people should be able to be anonymous on the app. It is not clear if users can shield their identity from other users or if they can.
He wants to build a better, long- lasting civilization with 1 billion users. The guy who jokes about breasts and marijuana all day is also the one who does this.
