The next chapter of the Final Fantasy VII remake saga was announced during the Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary celebration stream. The game will launch as a PS5 exclusive in the winter.
There is a hint at what the next game might look like after the conclusion of the remake. Some of the world outside of Midgar, as well as mysterious scenes of Cloud Strife walking alongside Sephiroth and an injured Cloud, were shown in a brief trailer.
The creative director of Final Fantasy VII said in a message that the game will be designed so that people can enjoy it even if they don't know anything about the first game. New players might like starting with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Cloud and his friends embark on a new journey in this game, and I believe that the scenes they see after leaving Midgar will give players a new experience.
It was not clear how many games would comprise the remake story. The third title has started development. I'm working towards the completion of the series and have begun the development.
Despite massive expectations, the game turned out to be quite good. It was a lifesaver for me during the early weeks of the Pandemic, and I had a blast playing through the PS5-optimized version and the Yuffie DLC. The PC version of ReMake will be available on Steam on June 17th.
A remake of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is in the works. This winter, that game will be available on PS5 and PS4 as well as on Microsoft's consoles.
