According to Kevin Weekes, the Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to a 4-year deal with John Tortorella.

The Blue Jackets qualified for the playoffs in four of their six seasons under John Tortorella, making him the winningest coach in team history. The only time they advanced past the first round was in 2019.

TheFlyers were one of the worst teams in the NHL this year. Defenseman Ryan Ellis was limited to just four games due to injury last year. The aggressive retool includes a new coach in the form of John Tortorella.
