According to a group of anonymous employees, Musk's recent behavior reflects poorly on the company.

An open letter to company executives was posted in an internal channel of the company. The founder of the two companies was asked to change his ways.

In recent weeks, Elon's behavior in the public sphere has been a source of distraction and embarrassment for us.

Musk is trying to buy much of that behavior on the social networking site. Sometimes the billionaire uses the platform to make crude jokes or insult people. He implied that a man involved in the rescue of Thai boys from a flooded cave is a pedologist.

"As our CEO and most prominent spokesman, Elon is seen as the face of the company," the letter says. It's important to make clear to our teams and potential talent pool that his messaging doesn't reflect our work, mission or our values.

Musk is a revolutionary private spaceentrepreneur.

The document claims employees across the spectrum of gender, ethnicity, seniority and technical roles have collaborated on its author, but it's not clear who wrote it. The employees who posted the letter did not reply to questions from the website.

There are three different action items suggested by the document. The items include the condemnation of other senior company leaders for similar conduct, as well as the definition of what exactly is meant by the "no-asshole" and "zero tolerance" policies of the company.

Musk, Time Magazine's 2021 person of the year, has denied an allegation of sexual misconduct concerning his activities with a flight attendant in 2016 that was reported by Business Insider.

The company as a whole doesn't do enough to punish or discourage sexual harassment in the workplace according to several former employees.

The president of the company sent an email to employees defending Musk after a sexual harassment story was published by Business Insider.

Shotwell said he believed the allegations to be false because he had never heard anything similar. I'm pretty sure anyone who knows him knows he wouldn't conduct or condone this kind of behavior.

There are many government, military and commercial projects that the company is involved in. A few years from now, NASA will have a chance to land astronauts on the moon with the help of a vehicle from Space Exploration Technologies. The company was awarded contracts to fly cargo and astronauts to the space station. Starlink is the company's satellite internet service.
