eBay Live will give users a way to purchase products in a live and interactive environment. There is a new experience in the works. A selection of rare trading cards will be offered at the company's first live event.

eBay says shoppers will be invited to engage with products as if they are in a traditional store. The events will be accessible via the internet. Shoppers will be able to chat with the seller directly in the event. Shoppers can make purchases from the livestream.

The first event will be held on June 22nd. In addition to the Michael Jordan M1 Red Bordered Refractor PSA 9 MINT and the Kobe Bryant Skybox That's Jam PSA 10, shoppers will see a selection of other collectibles.

The vice president of collectibles, electronics and home at eBay said that eBay was the original home for trading cards and collectibles. A new live platform that combines an engaging environment with incredible ease allows our community to come together over shared interests and merchandise. eBay Live will provide a more streamlined, entertaining and sophisticated way for our community to connect, buy and sell.

eBay is one of the newest online platforms to enter the live shopping space.

The ability for two creators to go live at the same time to co- host a live shopping stream was teased last month. Walmart would be the first retailer to experiment with the new platform, which was announced in November of 2011.

A test of live shopping for creators was rolled out by Facebook. As partnerships between brands and creators become more common, the app is testing a feature that would make them appear more seamless. The new app was launched to make it easier for creators to use it.

Live shopping isn't the only new space that eBay is focused on, as today's announcement comes a few weeks after eBay announced that it's launching its first collection of NFTs in partnership with OneOf eBay said it is the first time it has collaborated in the Nft space.
