T-Mobile is offering new benefits to its customers who subscribe to its wireless plans. It is offering a 25 cent discount on gas at Shell stations through its T-Mobile Tuesday program. International and in-flight data benefits are being upgraded.

The gas discount is good for up to 20 gallons, which is the same limit the company put on its fuel rewards for Shell in the past. The promotion will run from June 21st through the week of Labor Day, according to T-Mobile. The carrier is giving away a free year of membership with the American Automobile Association, which offers roadside assistance like towing, jumpstarts, and its own set of travel related discounts.

Most T-Mobile customers are getting faster international internet — but the upgrade for Magenta Max customers is huge

There are changes to T-Mobile's international data plans. T-Mobile says that it will give 5 gigabytes of high-speed data per month to all of its customers. Speeds can be as high as 512kbps in most countries. T-Mobile says they will get the highest speed data available. Your speeds will depend on the coverage wherever you are.

The deal is only available to regular Magenta customers in Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, and Slovakia. Most T-Mobile subscribers can expect to get around 128kbps speeds in other countries. It's an upgrade. Non-Max customers used to get less than half that when they traveled internationally.

T-Mobile doesn't seem to be changing the deal for data in Mexico and Canada, just like before. In the two countries, 2G speeds will be available.

The company is adding support for streaming video on some flights. T-Mobile will provide internet on select Delta, American, and Alaska Airlines flights. This benefit will come to United Airlines in the future according to the carrier.

The plan isn't the same for everyone The internet will be used for the entire flight for every flight that supports it. A free hour of browsing time is only given to customers on four flights a year. If it is available, both will be able to watch it.

It's kind of gone when it comes to providing in-flight internet because of the sale of the business to Intelsat. T-Mobile will be adding additional providers throughout the year even though it is launching with Intelsat. Under the old plan, Max subscribers had access to unlimited wi-fi, and regular Magenta users got a free hour of internet with unlimited texting, but neither tier allowed you to stream from most video services. T-Mobile's new agreements allow it to offer more flights and airlines in-flight wi-fi.
