The fixture schedule for the 2022-23 Premier League season was released on Thursday with Manchester City starting at West Ham and Manchester United starting with a home match against Brighton.
The title was decided on the final day, when City came from 2-0 down to beat Villa and win the title. They want to become the first team to win the trophy three times in a row since Manchester United in 2009, and they start the season at the London Stadium.
The first meeting between last season's top two will take place on October 15th, with the second taking place on April 1st. The first game of the season will be against newly-promoted Cottagers at Craven Cottage.

Manchester United finished with their lowest points total in the history of the premier league. In the middle of the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fired, and then in the summer, Ralf Rangnick took over on an interim basis, but left the club before the end of his two-year advisory role.
There is a difficult start to life at United, with a home match against the club's third game of the season on August 20. It was one of the most embarrassing defeats in the history of theSolskjaer's side when they were thrashed by the Reds.
In the first 10 matches of the season, United will play at least two other teams, as well as visiting the likes ofArsenal. The first Manchester derby of the season will take place on October 1st at the Etihad.
The 2022-23 season kicks off on August 5th with Crystal Palace taking on Arsenal.
The first North London derby of the season will take place on October 1 when Spurs host Saints at White Hart Lane.
The league is in its 30th year and the new season takes a different shape to previous campaigns, with the league on hiatus in November because of the World Cup. The English Football Association requested that the games between the "Big Six" not be played on the weekend before the World Cup starts, according to reports.
There are no Big Six games on that weekend, with the exception of the United game at the Cottage.
The final of the World Cup will take place on December 18 and the league will start on December 26. The following round of games won't be played until New Year's Eve in order to make up for lost time after the World Cup.
