Multicultural London English is the name
The person is about 40 years old.
The UK's dominant dialect.
Is it possible that wagwan had a bad day? This is out of the way right now. Multicultural London English is spoken by a lot of people. The last thing anyone would want to read is a broadsheet newspaper journalist pretending to be Ali G in order to get a story.
I apologize. This is your last warning.
It's fine Multicultural London English is back. Young, working-class Londoners who grow up in areas with high levels of immigration speak a dialect called MLE. It's roots are in patois spoken by Caribbean migrants who arrived in London after the Second World War.
Is this why my nephew calls me a man? It's probably a possibility. Get accustomed to it. Most people in the UK will speak a version of MLE within 100 years, according to linguistics experts.
This sounds really bad. Isn't it? The beauty of language is its flexibility. Nobody today uses the sort of dialect that was common a century ago, so it's natural to assume that people a century from now will have completely different speech patterns.
It doesn't sound like it's from Britain. It does. The UK has a dialect called MLE. It is as British as red-faced cockneys or bowler-hatted bankers. It doesn't mean worse if it's different.
I need a crash course if we are going to be talking soon. Do you want to learn a new language?
Please. I am doing this reluctantly, and briefly: "hench" is muscular, "peng" is good, "wasteman" is useless, and "shook" is frightened.
All of these have been written down. You're not using your time well. The MLE speakers won't use any of these. If you're listening, you should be paying attention to the two parts of language. MLE speakers pronounce their aitches the same as people who speak Estuary English.
Is there anything else? The vowels in the centre of the mouth are what distinguishes MLE. The words "thing" and "thank" are shortened to a hard T, along with the historical estuary F.
That sounds like it would work out. Is it possible to see? There's nothing to fear.
It sounds likepeng. Don't get out.
MLE will be our main dialect within a century.
Don't say that Mle is rude.
