One of the more surprising announcements from Apple last week was the announcement of a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Apple's new M2 processor. The new MacBook will be available for pre-order starting this Friday, June 17th, with delivery and in-store availability starting on June 24th.

The new 13-inch MacBook can only be pre-ordered through the Apple store or through a small number of authorized retailers.

The base model of the MacBook Pro comes with a 13-inch display and Apple's M2 processor, as well as 8 gigabytes of RAM and a 512gigabyte solid state drive.

The latest configurations of the MacBook Pro can have up to 24 gigabytes of memory and 2 terabytes of storage.

The new MacBook Pro will be available in silver or gray. The models all have the same specifications, but can be configured with up to 24 gigabyte of RAM and 2 gigabyte of storage. It is possible to spend as much as $2,499.99 for a model that has all the bells and whistles, but it is also possible to spend as little as $1,299.99. We haven't had a chance to try out any of the new models of the MacBook Pro, but the new M2CPU is sure to give it a leg up on Apple's previous 13-inch model. The Touch Bar is retained and includes active cooling to keep the M2 processor running at peak performance.

We put together an extensive comparison between the new MacBook Pro and the upgraded MacBook Air, along with last year's 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro.
