Musk said on Wednesday that he was leaning towards voting for Ron DeSantis in the presidential election in four years.
Although he has not officially thrown his hat in the ring for the race, he is an ally of former President Donald Trump and is considered to be a likely front runner in the party if he runs.
Musk responded to the account calledTesla Owners Silicon Valley, which said in its bio that it follows notoriousTesla owners in the area. The conversation started after Musk replied to a news outlet that declared Republican Mayra Flores had won a special election for Texas' 34th congressional district.
Musk said he voted for Mayra Flores for the first time in his life. After complaining about the strict regulatory environment, Musk moved the headquarters of his company to Texas. There was a huge red wave in 2020.
Musk replied "tbd" when asked if he'd vote Republican for president. Musk replied with a single word, "DeSantis", when the account asked what direction he was leaning towards.
The account with the name Spidey_ElonFan replied to Musk that his political donations would be evenly spread out. Yes, right?
Musk said he was thinking of creating a Super Moderate Super PAC that supported centrist candidates.
Musk said last month that he would vote for Republicans in the upcoming elections even though he has previously voted for Democrats.
Musk said he voted for Democrats because they were kind. They have become the party of division and hate so I will vote Republican.
