After delaying Starfield into next year and not showing much about The Elder Scrolls 6 since it was announced last year, Bethesda is thinking about what to do next. In an interview with IGN, Todd Howard said that the game studio is planning on making a fifth edition of the series.

Howard said that Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production and that there will be a fifth game in the series after that. There is no indication as to when we can expect the release of the fifth game in the series. Considering how long we have been waiting for Starfield and the fact that we don't know anything about The Elder Scrolls 6, it's likely that the game is a long way off.

The next game in the series would be called 'Fallout 5'. Howard told IGN that there are other projects that the studio looks at from time to time.

The studio is currently working on a sci-fi game called Starfield. At the showcase, 15 minutes of Starfield was shown.
