OnCall is an on-call management tool for DevOps and site reliability engineering teams that was launched in November of last year. It should be easier for companies in regulated industries to use the tool since it is open source. The free Grafana Cloud offering includes OnCall.
The project co- creators wanted to make OnCall open source as soon as they felt it was ready for use. It is ready now.

Amixr was acquired by Grafana Labs last year in order to build On Call. The goal is for teams to have a single tool that can manage their notifications. Teams can create and manage on-call schedules, build automatic escalations when things go wrong and it is also integrated with services like New Relic.
The company is hosting a community event this week and is also launching a new product. It makes it easier for more developers to create queries without having to learn the underlying query languages, as well as dashboard previews and a modernized heat map panel.
