Bryan Cranston unpacks 'The Office' episode that nearly killed the cast

You would think filming a show like The Office would be a relatively safe affair, but not so with the episode Bryan Cranston directed, "Work Bus," which was affectionately renamed "Death Bus."

An air conditioning unit fitted too close to the bus' exhaust nearly wiped out the entire cast of The Office, according to The Office BFFs: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There.

"Jena saved everyone's life, that's what I'm telling you in the clip above." She said she smelled exhaust coming from the bus. I'm saying, "Jenna, how is that possible, we have air conditioning?" She said it was coming in.

The air conditioning unit smelled the tell-tale signs of exhaust fumes when he stood up on a chair.

"Oh my gosh, we could have all been dead, I got nice and dizzy, then realized, oh my gosh, we could have all been dead," says Cranston. It would have been an amazing show.
