You will be able to add up to toll amounts on your route with a new feature on the maps. You have the option of paying less or no tolls.
Users in the US, India, Japan, and Indonesia are able to use the feature on their phones. You used to be able to see if a particular route has tolls.
The firm collects toll prices from local authorities. It is not much, but at least it is a beginning.
The company said in a forum post that they look at factors such as having a toll pass or not, what the day of the week it is, and how much the toll is expected to cost at a specific time.
If you don't have a toll pass, you will have the option to show toll prices with or without one.
The option to see toll prices is on by default, but you can change it under the navigation menu.
Back in April, the company announced this feature. The feature was rolled out to users just a few weeks ago. The new post confirms the availability.
The app made it simpler to check the air quality in the area you are visiting.
