Resident Evil Village is getting an expansion with more story and a third-person mode

There will be a story campaign, more content for the Mercenaries mode, and a third-person mode in the new expansion. The expansion will be available on October 28th.

The daughter of a village hero is the star of a new story campaign. Tsuyoshi Kanda wrote in a post that Rosemary Winters is now struggling with terrifying powers after she grew up. Rose entered the consciousness of the Megamycete in order to break her curse. Rose goes to a place where memories of the past come back to haunt her.

The main story of Shadows of Rose can be played in third person with Winters' Expansion. New stages and characters are included in the Mercenaries mode updates.

The news about Resident Evil Village wasn't the only thing they shared. The next-gen updates for Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 will be available to download today, as well as a look at the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake.
