The National Park Service closed the entrances to the park for all visitors late Monday morning due to rock slides and mud slides.

The park will cut off all inbound traffic for at least the next two days while staff assess the damage.

The northern part of the park is being evacuated and tourists will be moved out of the southern part of the park later Monday.
